Blog Header - November 25, 2011

Edgar Alan Poe visited our library a few weeks ago. Well... an actor playing Poe visited our local library. And he was fantastic.

The photo in this blog header is from that event. Poe was known to have enjoyed red wine, so they put out the decanter with grape juice for effect and so the actor could sooth his throat as he presented a phenomenal and emotional recitation of quite a few of Poe’s poems and stories.

It was a very enjoyable event, which our son completely loved. And now he is a full-blown fan of Edgar Alan Poe. So the presentation did some good.

  1. Our Savior is speaking to us!! Please click the link below for this message from our Lord!!

  2. This would be the second time you have left a message that does not support your outrageous apparent claim that everything that exists is the result of random chance. Nor have you targeted any of my personal beliefs. You have, however, anonymously posted twice. The link back to Yahoo is sure evidence that you are lacking in the ability for coherent thought. And so... based on the comment introductory rules, should you continue to post this stupidity to my blog, I will be forced to add your IP address to my list of blocked addresses.

Surely, you would prefer to engage some reasonable conversation rather than proving to everyone who reads my blog that to believe in evolution requires a total denial of evidence at the least and mental incapacity at the worst.

For those who would like to read the intensely stupid blog post linked by the anonymous "JesusSaves," here is the link presented using HTML so you may click on it, as I am quite sure that evolution will not turn the non-dynamic text left by our anonymous stupid person into hypertext markup language.
