It's Friday!!

A

few decades ago, this guy used to be the opening act for serious rock concerts. He opened for Emerson, Lake and Palmer and Led Zeppelin and a few other big name rock acts. And he often had the crowd in a greater state of frenzy than the headlining rock bands. All with a single very old instrument and the music of the greatest musician of all time—J.S. Bach.

  1. I admire anyone who can play Bach. My fingers just get tangled when I play Bach...

  2. J.S. Bach is my favorite composer, but he's the reason I decided to switch instruments. I took 11 years of piano lessons, but when I was given a Bach piece for a recital I switched to trumpet and began all over again. That's some seriously intense music. And what kind of crazy thought process leads you to write four separate concurrent melody lines?
