The Cactus Cuties

This group of young ladies were asked to sing the Star Spangled Banner at a basketball game when the oldest was 10 years old and the youngest was only four. Their family posted a video of that performance to YouTube and they became a singing sensation. Now they perform at many sporting events. They are absolutely phenomenal.

And here’s one from quite a few years earlier:

ADDENDUM: I received a comment from someone who seems to know. So I need to make a correction. During their first performance, they ranged in age from 13 years old to 8 years old. Thank you to the person who informed me of that. Although, it doesn’t change a thing. These girls are amazing!

  1. Except for the last sentence (they ARE phenomenal!) you've got your story a bit confused. Their ages were 13 down to 8 for that original video (bottom) in early 2008. The top video, at a Houston Texans football game, is from Dec 28, 2008. They are good Christian girls who promised to always sing for an audience on one--God!

  2. Thank you for correcting me on that. I based my comments on an interview that is apparently incorrect. I will adjust this post. And... if you are in some way related to these young ladies, let them know that they have inspired and encouraged me. What a wonderful group of Americans. They make me proud. Thank you!
