I took this photo at Disneyworld during our family vacation a couple years ago. I love the scenery at Disney. If you could see the full original photograph, you’d be able to see Mt. Everest in the background. This is part of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, which is our least favorite of the four Disney theme parks, but still a great park with loads of fantastic rides. And the roller coaster inside Mt. Everest is phenomenal.
Funny. Though it was probably our least favorite it was still pretty awesome and we didn't have enough time in the dayt o do it all. (Of course we only were there half a day.) Never saw that part of the park and didn't get to ride Everest. The line was too long and some of our group didn't want to ride it anyway. Guess we'll have to hit it 'next time'.
ReplyDeleteWe were there for one week when I took that picture. Kim was named "National Photographer of the Year" in 2006 and that week long vacation package was part of the award. We stayed at the Caribbean Beach resort and went to all four of the theme parks and both water parks multiple times. It was wonderful. I think we rode the Tower of Terror about 20 times. And Goofy left a card and some cool stuff in our room for David. Goofy was David's favorite Disney character at the time. It was the best vacation we've ever had.
