oday is my wife’s birthday. I think this will be a year to remember. Our son is headed into his first year in high school. My sister's son got married. My other nephew will head to college. We will be moving soon. The economy, our nation, and the world as a whole is in turmoil. The future is uncertain.
Through it all, we see the hand of God at work. And when things get real crazy and we can’t possibly make it on our ownthat’s when God loves to show his power, his love, and his providence.
We think that now is one of those times and we are excited to see what God has planned.
So this birthday will be a little bit less celebratory than normalat least for now. We don’t have the time or the money to do it up right. But when the storm settles a bit, we will revisit all of our birthdays, our anniversary, and many other things that are being held in check during these turbulent times.
But for nowHappy birthday, Kim. I love you.
Happiest of Birthdays, Kim, even though it may lack the luster of previous years. I see the "fingerprints of God" in your life, and it's great cause for rejoicing!!!
