Never before have so many people with so little to say
said so much to so few.

  1. That's slightly more understandable than this line of Tolkien's:

~"I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve."

  2. That's one of my favorite lines. And Bilbo Baggins is one of my favorite characters.

  3. Donna’s meltdown surprised me and truly frightened me for her mental state. I have since seen more of this and realize now that it is a rhetorical style used by folks on both sides of this issue. Hyperbole is a valid method, and I think that is what Donna was doing here, although I may be wrong. I really have no context on which to hang my one run-in with her.>>>>

Uh, Richard, did you ask me?

    No big deal.

  4. Nope - sure didn't. Nor do I have a clue what you're talking about. Nor do I care. (No hyperbole being used at all, in case you were wondering.)

  5. Richard, do you remember saying those words?

Well, FWIW, I apologize to you for my offensive behavior on your blog.

    God bless,
    Mrs. Webfoot
