What is sustaining grace?

Not grace to bar what is not bliss
Nor flight from all distress—but this:
The grace that orders our trouble and pain
Then in the darkness is there to sustain

Pastor John Piper, Minneapolis, MN

  1. Richard, I am sorry to hear of this uncertain time for you and that you have to move. Where will you go? Prayers, encouragement and caring thoughts coming to you from Peggy in Fredericksburg.

  2. Thank you, Peggy. We are not sure yet where we will end up. But we're currently looking in the Front Royal area. This will take me much closer to work while keeping us in a more rural area, which seems to be much better for our son. And this is another opportunity for me to gain a greater understanding of God's care during difficult times. Your prayers are appreciated.
