And so it begins...

Apparently Barack Obama thought the press would continue to give him a pass even after he took his (second) oath of office. And he was not pleased when a journalist had the nerve to ask him a question.

Hmmm. This could be interesting.

By the way... did anyone notice that in the second "swearing-in" ceremony, Obama did not place his hand on a bible?

Although the inauguration was inspiring and there were many positive things said, we have now left the obvious in-the-spotlight situation and the reality of the new administration will begin to show itself.

So far we've had executive orders to close down the facility housing our most vile enemies (executive orders that, according to Obama's press conference, he had not written or even read), a promise to rescind all restrictions to abortion and to abortion funding, dodging of press questioning, an oath of office sans bible, and laughter at the pornographic dance stylings presented at the Inaugural Hip Hop Ball.

I am not encouraged.

  1. It's interesting what the media "fails" to tell us. I heard about Obama not swearing on the Bible from FOXNEWS. Sadly we live in a day in age when the media only informs us of what they want us to know.

  2. Yes - interesting and scary. And I think the new administration is going to try very hard to shut down the few sources of information that tell the truth about their dealings. Obama and other Dems have very clearly shown their desire to bring back the Fairness Doctrine under a different name and in a new form with the apparent intention of shutting down talk radio. I hate to see this swipe at our freedom of speech and freedom of the press. But I think it's coming very soon.

By the way - I love the pics your brother took of you. They're fantastic!
