Forever thankful

John Henry Jowett (1864–1923)

Life without thankfulness is devoid of love and passion. Hope without thankfulness is lacking in fine perception. Faith without thankfulness lacks strength and fortitude. Every virtue divorced from thankfulness is maimed and limps along the spiritual road.

William Wordsworth (1770–1850)

May silent thanks at least to God be given with a full heart;
Our thoughts are heard in heaven.

William Shakespeare (1564–1616)

O Lord! that lends me life,
Lend me a heart replete with thankfulness!
