Today's blog header photo was taken on Labor Day weekend in 2007 on Smith Mountain Lake. Some friends from our church invited us to go out on the lake on their boat on Labor Day. We had a wonderful time of fellowship with them and thoroughly enjoyed the day.
After boating around the lake a bit, our friends took us to this boat dock and I snapped this photo of the backlit boat casting shadows across the wood. Early Fall sunlight is beautiful and this setting was just perfect to display it.
