Monty Python's "The Philosopher's Song"

A good education is not to be missed. Whether or not we agree with them, we should all be aware of the contributions of the major historical philosophers.

If you have not yet benefitted from a solid liberal arts education in Western Philosophy, perhaps this will help:

  1. No comments on one of the best silly songs ever?

The last time I sang this was a Red Robin over lunch with a bunch of uptight people, but the Anglican across the table from me and a strange music/philosophy double major from Wayne State serenaded the table. None of the others knew what we were singing nor who we were singing about.

  2. I would love to have heard that performance! This song cracks me up. And the skit it sprang from (the Bruce sketch) is one of my favorites too. I love the Python boys.
