Wholesome habits of photographers

As a photographer, the following quote spoke to me. I think I'll take up this practice as well:

Photographer Helmut Newton:

"I always carry chains in the trunk of my car because you never know when you'll need them. You know, you go out in the streets in Paris and you might want to chain a model to a fence."

  1. Hello! I came by way of Mrs. Wilt, and I really enjoy your thoughtful entries.

Your post on Worship Leading vs. Facilitating reminds me of a business saying: Leaders lead, and Bosses boss. Leaders bring their people *with* them--worship leaders bring us *with* them to the throne.

  2. Thanks for stopping by, Barbara. And thanks for commenting. My posts regarding worship are very personal, since I am involved in leading our congregation in worship. I am struck regularly with the realization that I must humble myself truly before my God (not falsely for the admiration of men) in order to properly execute the incredibly privilege of leading God's people in corporate worship. It's an awesome and wonderful responsibility and I am not worthy outside of the blood of Jesus Christ. But, on the other hand, "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me."

I hope to see you here again.
