Moving on

After a full year of waiting for the promised follow-up from the leadership of my previous church, I have given up hope that it is forthcoming. May God intervene in the lives of these people so they bring no further disgrace to the name of Christ.

2 Timothy 2:25-26
God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, and they may escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will.

  2. Gracevet - Thank you for your comment.

Having moved to a different geographical location, I do have a solid legitimate reason for attending a new church. But you commented that you hoped I had a legitimate reason for "breaking fellowship" with my previous church.

I, in fact, did not break fellowship with them and still retain fellowship with some of the families in the congregation. The simple fact is that the leadership of my previous church broke fellowship with me.

If you feel so inclinded, please share your "bitter experience." I trust the Lord has worked in your life to move you to a place of joy and service in a Christ-honoring church.
