Kind of like asking, "Am I going to wear a mask today or am I going to be me?" Or, as you pointed out, "Am I going to identify myself as a mask, or as my old unredeemed self, or as someone washed in the blood of Christ and seen as holy only because of Christ's substitutionary atonement for my sins."

Good comment.Richard Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17633639712911093318noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14620450.post-22803094415251340692010-01-11T10:19:05.811-05:002010-01-11T10:19:05.811-05:00one other thing -- I've commented on two blogs...one other thing -- I've commented on two blogspot posts today. I really love what it says at the bottom, "Choose an identity." You mean, I can choose my identity today? In reality, I can. I can choose to live according to my identity in Christ, or the one the world says I should have, or the one I want others to see. I think that today I'm going to choose my identity in Christ. There's security in that one :DMary Fullerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11854259384676390882noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14620450.post-20108495587951772422010-01-11T10:16:38.360-05:002010-01-11T10:16:38.360-05:00Excellent reminder, Rich, and one I truly needed t...Excellent reminder, Rich, and one I truly needed to hear.
