The version that I would get (the big V-8) gets about 8 miles to the gallon, according to the police officer. Of course, that would be driving it in the way police drive their cars, which I'm sure I would do at times. I don't think that would do very well for my 400-mile round-trip commute to work. The six cylinder Charger is rather sluggish.

The Camaro six cylinder actually has more horsepower than a Mustang GT and is reportedly quite quick. And it gets almost 30 miles to the gallon. And it costs less than the econobox Mazda Speed3 we were considering.

So if Chevy is still in business in a few months, and if I'm still employed (Lord willing, and the creek don't rise)....Richard Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17633639712911093318noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14620450.post-69172595615556666832009-01-10T21:49:00.000-05:002009-01-10T21:49:00.000-05:00Nah, get the Charger. If it's good enough for the state troopers, why not you??Mary Fullerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11854259384676390882noreply@blogger.com
